Nappy Bins

The Disbin nappy bins are a convenient size and shape for collecting nappies.  Size250x250x600mm

The nappy bins can be used daily and placed on the back seat of the car when you need to take the nappies for recycling

If required, the nappy bin can hold a 35 litre cornstarch bag. The nappy bins also hold an extra-large sized Glad bag with a drawstring.

Lots of people need disposable nappies, not just babies. Incontinence, whether temporary or permanent, requires using disposable nappies/pads to be able to work, go to school and play/live normally.

Separating the disposable nappies for eco-friendly disposal is possible.

Nappies aren’t welcome in landfill, and although they are said to only make up 2% of landfill, they can add to the problems of ground water pollution and leachate. Landfills are meant for inert rubbish that can’t be recycled. Nappies in landfill take up valuable space and create methane gas.

They can be recycled and their wood pulp and paper components made into compost. The plastic exterior of a nappy or incontinence pad can be screened from the compost at the completion of the composting process and recycled.

The nappy bins hold the nappies and incontinence pads in a safe and discreet manner. A disbin Saniquills sachet can be used to provide odour-free storage.

The nappy bins can also be used without a liner, assuming the nappies are folded in on themselves and secured by the sticky tapes when removed from the baby or adult.

The nappy bin can also be used as a laundry bin, a toy box, somewhere to store winter and summer clothes and spare blankets, and also as recycling bins for separating recycling at source, in the kitchen.
