Features and Benefits
SaniQuills are a highly effective sanitary material against a wide range of bacteria. The Quills contain a blend of odour neutralising agents, bactericides (2) and essential oils, which make it effective in controlling bacteria and odours. The germicidal compounds satisfy present day safety requirements and can be considered virtually non toxic to humans.
SaniQuills contain a compound proven effective against human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) in laboratory trials. The blend of odour neutralising agents and essential oils controls odours generated within the bin and prevents emission.
SaniQuills are approved by MAF category C32 and MAF QM, ref 1317, approval for food - beverage, dairy farms and factories.
Effectiveness
SaniQuills are effective in controlling a wide range of both gram positive and gram negative bacteria as well as fungi and yeasts. In particular they are effective against:
- Escherichia coli
- Staphylococcus aureus
- Pseudomonas aeruginosa
- Proteus vulgaris
- Salmonella typhimurium LT2
- Listeria monocytogenes
- Streptococcus faecalis
- Bacillus subtilis
- Candida albicans
- and a number of other harmful bacteria.
Directions
Apply 40–100g per sanitary bin. With changing ambient conditions the application rate will vary.
